Off the grid

Sometimes you just need a break you know? So i've been "off the grid". With kids, work, and holiday; i've just had alot going on. Not to mention my laptop has been on the blink. Need to have it checked out and cleaned up. Thanksgiving was good. The little ones were both at their Dad's so it was just Shelby and I. We made a small 6 lb turkey along with mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, multiple favorite veggies, rolls and brownies for desert. Then we relaxed and watched Baby Momma and Get Smart, both very funny. I picked up extra shifts at the hospital too so I worked evening shifts wed and thu. They are always short during the holidays which is good to a point for extra money, but tiresome too. I only have off mon and sat next week. Anyway it's almost December...here we go with the whirlwind of it all!!! The only thing I wish is that there was more time between Halloween, and Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have begun to enjoy decorating more over the past couple of years and wish each holidays decorations lasted longer, especially Christmas. So, I hope to put most of my stuff up tomorrow after i get up from sleeping. I am excited for the New Year, church will get changed to 9am! Yeah! Those of you who know me know I am not a morning person! But, i work sat nights so it will be good to go home and get ready and then sleep so i'm not dead from lack of sleep or just not able to attend cuz i can't get up after only 3 hours of sleep. I thnk it would be great if church were at midnight!!! Any hoo, here's a recent pic of me...so need to take new family shot too!
