So, I had to have my car jumped off twice in the past 10 days. I would get in and all the lights and radio would come on but it wouldn't turn over and the negative side of the battery was corroded. So, I take it into to the dealership to have it looked at. First off, there is a "do not rent" warning sign on the Enterprise Car screen at the dealership which it turns out is from a partially paid bill from a year ago which the dealership shows as paid yet somehow IT ISN'T and the customer (ME) is showing up in arrears and the last number Enterprise has is an old one. So guess what...it is at a collection agency!!! GREAT! SO, I call the collection agency lady who of course is beyond rude to get info so dealership can resolve...but collections won't resolve...all of the info will have to go through Enterprise corporate office...you don't say!...She verifies my address...which hasn't changed in 5 YEARS (where they could have sent notice and didn't) Bottom line...I can't get a rental car...another GREAT! So I get a ride home from the Ex-husband who just happened to get off from work in the area and was meeting me to discuss a tax audit (interesting ride home). So, next day, get a ride from the ex-husband's girlfriend (better ride than from the EX!) to the dealership in the am to get the finished car for $450! Pay for it..yikes! and drive away in the early morning sun, YEAH! RIGHT!!! down the interstate a few miles in 830am traffic, it runs out of gas with the gage showing 1/4 tank!!! HA! I call the dealership...and ask what in the *@#*!* H.E....L is going on? Well M'AM...we reset the ECM, the TCM, and the DCM but we didn't touch the BCM, it wasn't needed. EXCUSE ME? Well, the BCM is the body control modules/mechanism computer chip...which would have possibly affected the gas gage?!?!?!...right, so I am the dumb woman and they will send a pick me up service for $50 plus to get me gas! NO THANKS! I say...so I call the ex-husband girlfriend back, who is adequately mortified for me and she comes to save me and my two little kids in prime time traffic...we go get gas...we fill up car...and it runs...but NOW the brake lights are stuck on. I call the dealership back and say...Excuse me, I think I have a BCM problem!!!!!! For which they agree...and I am the stupid woman who ran out of gas!!!!

I think you should get a Lexus. I have always heard when you buy a Jag to get 2 one to drive and the other will be in the shop. That totally sux. At least X & gf are so willing to help. U lukcy!
that really sucks! to have a nice car not that old that is having such issues!!! and i guess they think since you had the money to buy the car, you have the money to pay high repair costs
